Dealing with negativity

It’s very easy to fall into a negative mindset. To let negativity or negative thoughts take control of you. This of course will damage your game, damage your life even.
Deleted: Being positive, having an open mindset, and being confident in yourself is key to development and good performances so it’s important to consider negativity.
One acronym to consider with mindset is ACT;
A – Accept – It’s important to accept negative thoughts that come to you. Don’t deny them. It’s ok and everybody from time to time with have self doubt or you may have other people oppose their opinions on you.

C – Check – Is this negativity real? Are we just talking about emotions or feelings? What is the source of the negativity. Try to understand the triggers surrounding these negativity thoughts.
T – Transfer – Now is the time to change your mindset. Thinking ‘I am not good enough’ should be replaced by ‘I am good enough’.
Nothing to do with the mind is simple, but starting with good practices from today can be the turning point for you, or the continuation of an already positive outlook.
