ProFormance Global will always put every young person’s care and well-being first. We are committed to safeguard the welfare of every child and young person entrusted to us.<\/p>\n
At all times ProFormance Global will abide by and adhere to the FA guidelines on Child Protection available here http:\/\/www.thefa.com\/Leagues\/Respect\/Safeguarding\/~\/media\/Files\/PDF\/TheFA\/ChildProtectionPolicyProceduresandImplementationGu.ashx the coaches and staff at PROFORMANCE GLOBAL understand that they are in a position of trust and must uphold a duty of care at all times.<\/p>\n
All coaches must have attended an up to date and relevant Child Protection course such the ones run by The FA. All coaches must also be first aid trained.<\/p>\n
PROFORMANCE GLOBAL coaches and staff understand that is it is the responsibility of all of our members and volunteers to prevent the physical, sexual or emotional abuse of children and young people who are left in our care.
\nAll staff must take reasonable care for Health and Safety of themselves and others attending the centre.
\nCoaches and Volunteers should avoid being left alone with any children and parents are invited to stay at all session that are run at PROFORMANCE GLOBAL. <\/p>\n
All people attending PROFORMANCE GLOBAL courses\/sessions, coaches, parents, and players must adhere to the relevant code of conduct set out by PROFORMANCE GLOBAL. Breaches of codes of conduct should be documented and reported to the Head Coach\/Coaching Director. <\/p>\n
If a child makes any sort of allegation, the following basic should be observed:
\n\uf0d8\tListen to the child and believe the child
\n\uf0d8\tNever stop a child who is freely recalling significant events
\n\uf0d8\tAs soon as possible make a written record of the conversation, taking care to note the date, time, setting and who was present, as well as the child’s actual words
\n\uf0d8\tOn the same day make a note of all relevant facts, events and conversations, distinguishing known facts from allegations and opinions.<\/p>\n
If a report is received by PROFORMANCE GLOBAL it must drawn to the attention of the relevant authorities, where appropriate, immediately. Any delay can increase the risk to the child. Deciding to give parents the benefit of the doubt’ (for instance) can be detrimental to the protection and welfare of the child.<\/p>\n
All reports must be investigated.<\/p>\n
It is the responsibility of all PROFORMANCE GLOBAL members to promote the physical and emotional well being of all children.<\/p>\n
